These pictures on slate are created by a unique process that makes the images appear to be engraved in the rock. The artist, Shlomo Shuval, discovered this process by experimentation, where the photo and slate become permanently intertwined through a silkscreen like process. This process is so stable that direct sunlight doesn’t even affect it. Each piece of slate has its own contour and coloring, and therefore each creation is a one of a kind, work of art, that will last forever. Available in two different styles: Texas Mighty Oak 16”x24”
